DSA - Build or Burn Rally at New York Public Library
Democratic Socialists of America’s Ecosocialist Working Group held a rally outside of New York Public Library on January 13th 2022 to show support for (and pressure Gov. Hochul to commit to) the Build Public Renewables Act so that New York State can transition away from fossil fuels to 100% renewable energy (wind, solar…). In addition to documenting this powerful gathering, I enjoyed taking a moment to snap some pictures of a large group of pigeons bathing in a fountain next to the library.
