My name is Nicole (she/her) and I’m a New York City-based photographer who loves documenting history as it unfolds. I always aim to tell stories in a way that’s accessible and immersive, so folks can feel like they were right there with me when I took each photo.
I am working on series called “Nerds Are Here to Stay (F*ck AI), which celebrates the personalities, interests and authenticity of women who are unapologetically nerdy. This project was inspired by my fascinating work as an Assistant Photo Editor for IEEE Spectrum Magazine (n.millman@ieee.org, all opinions expressed are my own). I am currently available on weekends (Saturday + Sunday) for collaborations and shoots.
My work has been published by IEEE’s The Institute, The Wall Street Journal, The Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), City & State New York, Queens Chronicle and more!
Fun/random stuff: I’m passionate about bisexual representation & expressing the importance of better pay & self-care for creatives. In my spare time, I enjoy eating pasta and watching Jerma985, Charmed and One Piece with my cat “Clam”.
